The Greatest Game Ever Played!!!
"The Greatest Game Ever Played" a movie on golf is probably one of my all time favorite movies. It is based on a true story of Francis Ouimet,an American who won the 1913 US open. An amateur golfer who went on to win the championship against British players named Harry Vardon and Ted Ray. It was a matter of pride for Americans who eventually retained their cup. Movie is quite inspiring as Francis was a common peasant's son and went on to become a champion against his own role model(Harry Vardon). The best character of the movie which I found was the caddy Eddie who was hardly 10 years. His enthusiasm, charisma, maturity for a 10 year old is commendable. It all starts when Francis's parents have bought a house on the edge of the 17th hole of 'The Country Club' in Brookline, Massachusetts.
