End to your struggles!
Why do we work? Isn't it to satisfy either our basic needs or wants or to fulfill our desires? If it is true, then what happens when you fulfill these? Do you want to quit your job? Of course, yes. That would be the obvious choice as one achieves financial freedom, we no longer need the job. But the question here is can employees quit the job at will (without notice) or should they quit formally (with resignation and serving the notice period)? Most of the employees would prefer at-will for informal and ad-hoc jobs like part-time ones, interns.
