Blog me...curiosity redefined

        I was watching a TEDx talk from Palki Sharma Upadhyay, a news reader from Wion. Yes she is known for her news series called 'Gravitas' and one thing that stuck my mind in her talk was 'Find your flavor'. The world is competitive, no doubt. We are all moving from macro-competition to micro-competition. With that it would mean, we are not bound by industry-specific competition or even company-specific-competition, it is more individuals competition over other w.r.t skills, intelligence, productivity, offerings, value adds etc.      Let me stick to teaching field for now. What makes a teacher find his niche? Is it the art of story telling? Is it the magic he creates on the stage with his performance? Is it the mesmerizing narration? Is it his command over the content? Is it the thought-provoking questions that he ask? Is it making them create something new?  Or is it just his charisma that the students love?    Oh yeah, the ingredie...

        Life is precious...don't ruin it by dreaming about something. If you look at the whole universe and its lifespan, our existence in it, is merely an atom in an ocean. Have you ever felt that in our 60-80 years of existence, did you make it worth while?   The first 25 years of our life, we learn so we can make a living in next 45 years(of course if you don't get burned out). After the 25th year comes your life partner and kids... the story goes on. In the quest to live a comfortable life and make a living, we forget to live.     Irony is that, we forget to even smile and be happy. Am sure most of us had dreamt of being something else when we were kids and now ended up being something else. Glad if you have stuck to it and made it. But most often we don't.  Its the hard truth of making a living that comes in a way.     Imagine if the compensation paid is same irrelevant of your field of work . You are promoted to next pay sc...
