Trignometry of Games

Image
When I hear the word ‘Game’, it gives me a sense of pleasure. Yes I always loved sports, be it cricket, table tennis, table pool. Isn’t the competitiveness in the game that drives us towards it? The thrill of winning from a losing situation, the character building sportsman spirit, the rising hormones while playing all makes it interesting, yet fun. One part is the outdoor games, but the thrill is totally on the online games, I heard. I honestly am not much into any online gaming. Now, I always wondered what goes into making these online games. Let me start with the basics of any game: a)       Goal – What is the point in playing a game without having a goal? It is after all, the ultimate reach that drives us to succeed or loss. But the secret is not to get entangled in the specifics of the outcome, but to play to our true potential. b)       Rules – Formulation of the rules, and adhering to it,...

Do you want to get lost?

I heard that when you are lost, God will find you. In fact the search for ultimate truth, leads us to loose ourselves. The biggest challenge is having the courage to lose ourselves when the whole world around you are after some goals or purpose. If you are not then there is definitely some problem with you. That is the perception of this world. For now, let us leave the perception to itself and talk about the reality for a change.        Are we after all only defined by the degrees we hold, the knowledge we possess or the position/roles we play in our professional world? Is there anything more in this world than just living for goal satisfaction? Have you felt there is a greater cause than this?  Would you have preferred a higher purpose to life?       I am a ordinary person, probably no better than anyone of you who is reading this. Being ordinary is just fine in today's world but I believe in a higher purpose. Nothing wrong have a goal that is just higher than your...
