Peaceful Warrior - A true eye opener for me!
A movie that has really moved me and educates me every time I watch it is 'Peaceful Warrior'. It has a decent script and acted wonderfully. I loved the movie for its simple teachings it gave me. Every human being has a purpose to our birth, wouldn't it be so good to find our what it is? Here are few things I learnt from the movie:
a) "Empty your trash"
Mind is the dustbin here...removing the unwanted thoughts and retaining what is relevant is the only way to lead the life blissfully. Doesn't it help us to achieve more by being in the present moment? After all this is what the yogis, sanyasi are preaching us over the years.
Being present and devoted to the moment 100% is bliss.
b) Life's 3 rules
Paradox - Life is a mystery...don't waste time trying to figure it out.
Humor - Keep your sense of humor especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure.
Change - Know that nothing remains the same.
c) Enjoy the journey and not the destination(prize)
Learning to enjoy the process or the journey rather than destination or the prize you gain is the wisdom of life. Wish everyone know what is the prize in the life for every step they take. But fortunately most of us don't. Isn't that makes the journey more enjoyable?
Most of us wonder if we are truly happy in our life. At least I do. Everyone wants to tell us what they believe in and impose on us on their thinking. Ever wondered what you really believe in and a true Guru would like you to find yourself in this lost world. Hope you find one (Guru) soon.
True prayers are always answered, especially when it comes from the heart with sincerity and devotion. I have felt it. Have you? Everybody dies, there are a few that have made a mark in this world before they die. What is your goal in this life?
Hope you will find your inspiration and a goal (however small it is) in this life.
May you be the true warrior that makes the world a better place.
