Kaapi katte...a true coffee experience!!!
What a great start to my day today with an aromatic coffee at Kaapi katte...a popular coffee shop at Rajarajeswari Nagar. I love the lattee at Café coffee day thou I do not take coffee everyday at my house. These are the two places I just love to have my coffee and I prefer it light.
Just a nice way to start my day with either light coffee or with a lemon tea. It makes me feel like am on cloud nine(I always wondered the use of number nine here...why not ten? :)). Believe me I just did a google search to figure out the origin of the phrase 'on cloud nine' and found that meteorologist classified these clouds based on numbers and altitudes...it appeared to them that cloud number nine was always on a higher altitude. Wow, that explains and nice gyan for today!!!
Let me come back to the ground realities after walking my way on the cloud. People around the world appreciate Starbucks about the coffee house experience that it gives....believe me Café Coffee Day is no difference in its experience compared to Starbucks. Yea you may know that CCD(in short for Café Coffee Day) is a venture from Indian, Siddhartha while Starbucks is a renowned international one. Not to forget CCD has been doing very good thou Starbucks has just entered into the Indian market.
Kaapi Katte, a completely local shop gives an totally different experience from these giants. Its a simple shop with good taste and located right in the middle of Rajarajeswari nagar. Lemon tea(I just love it there) makes you feel so energetic and gives you a kick!
Have you ever wondered these two experiences - one @ Kaapi katte and other at these coffee houses - CCD or Starbucks can be recreated at your office pantries? Ha...what a thought! Wish I had these experiences created anywhere I go. Ya today we do see CCD or/and Chai point in IT parks but I would always wonder if I can get the same experience as the one I just get when drinking a cup of coffee in the glass in Kaapi Katte.
