My experiments on ChatGPT...
The trend of AI and ChatGPT caught me too. Always fascinated with this topic, I probed my first question on ChatGPT -
Q1 - "Can I be reborn as a human?"
Interestingly it gave an appropriate answer as an AI, that rebirth is a belief system in some religions.
My verdict - As a Hindu, not quite the answer I was looking for.
I moved on to find out does it have some fancy answer to an alien invasion.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Q2 - "What would humans do if Aliens attack Earth?"
Though the prediction was, it is impossible to respond to this speculation, Governments may take some action with military aid.
My verdict - The answer is pretty average, I thought.
I wanted to test the programming capability of the ChatGPT, I asked it to write a web development code.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Q3 - "Generate an HTML CSS Javascript puzzle to crack for the code hackathon for grade 8"
Pretty interesting code which I copied to replit and here is the output of it.

Interestingly the puzzle looks for 42 as the answer. The significance of the number 42 was highlighted in the novel “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” by Douglas Adams. In the novel, 42 is the answer given by the supercomputer as the ultimate question to life, the universe, and everything. 42 happens to be the ASCII code of *, which can be anything and everything.
My verdict - I have no fascination for 42 number but * may convey everything in computer. Decent puzzle fictionally.

The fascination of an AI tool responding to your questions in great detail might have caught the world at its feet. I would rather look for the futuristic implications that this tool might have. These implications whether it is good or bad, I suppose, time will tell. But nevertheless, the expected disruption is going to be huge.
Are we prepared for it? Not quite.
Did we predict this in the past? Yes. Stephen Hawking had "It will either be the best thing that's ever happened to us, or it will be the worst thing. If we're not careful, it very well may be the last thing."
Are we careful enough now? Not sure.
Would like to end this blog with a note, that we are on the verge of an interesting phase of life. Hope it would bring out the best of the capabilities rather than the worst.
