A company man - Korean movie review
I love movies...Korean movies are something that I have been loving it more recently. My favorities being action oriented thrillers and a drama. I got to see all of them in one movie....it is called 'A Company Man'. It being a Korean movie was icing on the cake.
The best part of this movie is the contrast that is shown between job and love. Do you love you job if it has two sides to it? One side is to show the world that you are a simple metal trading company and on the other side is the deadly assassinations that are carried out. Look at the camouflage at the company level. Even better is the main character's dilemma that is shown who is initially torn between his murderous job and love for his singing.
The way the movie goes on is show beautifully with how the main character wants to save the 20 year old kid and his family. To what extent he goes on to try and save them. Interestingly the film is woven between the conflicts that arise in any man's life - work & love.
They say there is calmness before and after the storm. Imagine the same calmness (family love, kindness) being shown in a film with action scenes woven around it. Hats off to the director who has shown such conflicts with ease and the message is conveyed appropriately.
When you want to quit the job, you should. There is a certain purpose to every decision that happens. Isn't it better if it is to save another human being life or his family?
Life is in the pause....enjoy those moments of calmness.
If you are passionate about action thrillers you should watch it - 'A Company Man'
