BAU?

  Curiosity drove me to see what BAU acronym stands for. I knew one of those popular meaning 'Business As Usual' in IT context or project management context. To my surprise, I got 20 different definitions for it.

It is not the meaning or the context that I intended to put forward in this post but the future for this word.

At least in today's fast paced ever changing business world, we no more say BAU (Business as Usual) due to its dynamism. It is not far when this word is forgotten as we progress. In simple terms this could mean we change the business scenarios so fast that we tend to use this acronym to the minimum leading to no use at all. Imagine if the opposite of network effects (Metcalfe's law) happens, we might lose the word from our cache memory as well as from main memory.

Well do you foresee any such acronyms that are becoming redundant in today's world.
If so let us know about it.

I stumbled upon a instagram reel which was funny nevertheless had truth in it.
