Indian School of -----------?
What is it that education should teach us? Is it creativity or learning or both? Or is it the art of learning things quickly and with focus? Or is it just concentration like Swami Vivekananda taught us? Is it the character building to help us succeed in the real life? I will leave the thought for you to answer.
My question is can we find such a school today? At the end of the day, what are we producing, a bunch of craps? Should the character building be the foundation of any education system? I would prefer an old style Gurukul to learn than this system. Imagine each student getting an expertise as per his interests and inclination, just like Arjuna and Bheema learnt bow/arrow and gada (or mace) in Mahabharatha.
Here are few of my wishes, yeah quite interestingly odd enough
=> Indian School of Learning
=> Indian School of Hobbies
Be it astrology, astronomy, drawing, pottery to any hobby under the sun.
=> Indian School of Creativity
=> Indian School of Character building
Few certifications that these schools will be providing would be
+ Certificate of Devotion (Bhakti)
+ Certificate of Discipline
+ Certificate of Love
+ Certificate of Social service
+ Certificate of Meditation and Yoga
+ Certificate of ---------(your respective hobby)
+ Certificate of ---------(your respective creativity proved)
+ Certificate of ---------(your respective the character built and proved)
+ Certificate of ---------(your learnt activity and proved)
Please feel free to add more.
Outcomes from the school
@ Physically fit with knowledge on how to tackle any adverse conditions
@ Mentally fit - expert in solving problems all by himself
@ Character building
@ Problem solver
@ Learner for a life

Don't tease me saying you will find such a school in your dreams. It might be a reality in the near future or might already exists which we don't know. Education system as of today is going to evolve to adapt these sooner or later. Believe me, it will.
Learning is afterall so much fun and why should it be only the systematic way taught in today's schools. Lets make it more interesting.
On a lighter side, we can call it "Indian School of speeches"....am sure the Radio City or Radio mirchi (or one of those FM channels used to broadcast this ad) listeners will understand the irony.
