Foodie at heart!
Being foodie at heart, I enjoy my food everywhere. Italian pastas being my favourite food especially if my wife makes it. I love the ragi roti with curd, vegetable pulao made by my mom and the akki roti with avarekalu usli. Here are few places where I had finger licking good food:
(1) Vidyarthi Bhavan, Basavangudi, Bangalore
The dosa and the rava wada is too good to leave you craving for more. Start with rava wada and then have a dosa or two to fulfill your taste buds and end it with a coffee. Price is reasonable but you get to taste the best dosa of Bangalore per my view. Chutney you get with dosa or the rava wada is finger licking good.
(2) MTR - Mavalli Tiffin Room, Lal Bagh Main Road, Sampangi Rama Nagar, Bangalore
For Bangaloreans I don't need to describe the Rava Idli taste of MTR. If you have been to Bangalore and not visited MTR, then you are missing out the pleasure of Karnataka food. Apart from the Rava Idli, the Poori Sagu with Chutney is too good to be missed out. Other specialities I loved here are the sweet Chandrahara and Bisibella Bath. The full fledged meal is a must have.
(3) Ganesh Darshan, Jayanagar, Bangalore
Also known as the popular Dosa Camp in the Jayanagar 3rd block is a treat for food lovers. Masala Dosa is just unstoppable. Even better is button idli with sambar. Enjoy the coffee too.
(4) BDA complex, Banashankari, Bangalore
Lime Sharbat, Jalebi with Samosa are the best chaats you can eat in this BDA complex that is in Banashankari. You should try the pudi masala dosa which is on the next road of this complex.
(5) Paradise Food court, Gachibowli, Hyderabad
Hyderabad is known for its biriyani and what better than the popular chain of restaurant. Vegetable Biriyani with the gravy is must have. You might want to try the non-veg one too. People say it is better than the Vegetable Biriyani.
(6) Mom's Kitchen, The Mall Road, Mussoorie
The Khadi Rice in this small venue is a treat for anyone if they enjoy food. It is on the Mall road, Mussoorie. Do try the Rajma Chawal as well. The taste just mesmerizes you.
(7) Ahobilam (Millet Cave),JNTU-HiTech Road, Hyderabad
An innovative idea specially targeting the foodies who are health conscious, this is a place to enjoy the buffet made from millets. You get to eat everything healthy out here. Starting from the soup to the main course and the sweets everything made from millets.
8) King's drive Inn, Madhapur, Hyderabad
A multi cuisine restaurant where you get the variety of foods from chinese, north indian to south indian and must have chaats. It is a decent place to enjoy your food either inside your car or sitting on the drive inn's area. Nice ambience with good music and a big screen to watch for. It just makes you get the feeling of US drive inns.
Just enjoy the food and write to me if you got any other places to eat more!
Dedicated to all the foodies.
