Laugh away the medicine!!!
Happiness is a craving now a days everyone of us have. How do you fulfill it? Spiritual gurus say it is something that comes from your inside and cannot be obtained from the materialistic world. I would agree. What makes me happy? A cute smile from a kid, a comedy movie, a whats app joke from a friend, my wife's sense of humor and of course writing blogs just makes me happy. A job well done at the office with focus and commitment, is for few just contentment, but for me it also makes me happy.
Laugh they say is a good medicine to cure many a disease. No wonder we start seeing laughing clubs at parks now a days. A heartful laugh is contagious. Imagine you are in an environment where everyone laughs always. Wouldn't the world be a better place or rather happier place?
Joy is something you derive out of sheer unselfish acts. A kind act of giving alms to the poor and needy, donating to CRY foundation or a volunteering in a Guru's temple is sufficient to feel the joy and contentment.
Heading back to laughing at jokes, there are a plenty to choose from. Husband-wife jokes, Santa-banta jokes or rather sardarji jokes, not to leave out the jokes made on politicians (Rahul Gandhi, Aravind Kejriwal) or filmstars (Rajnikant) are means to make your day happier with a hearty laugh.
Let me just quote a joke that came in today in whats app:
A frustrated husband prays in front of his laptop - "Dear Google, do not act like my wife and please let me complete my sentence before suggesting and autofilling".
If you have not laughed at this, then you definitely need some doctor counseling :).
Charlie Chaplin once said "A day without laughter is a day wasted!".
Be happy, spread more joy and laugh out loud.
Let there be less visits to doctor or hospitals. :)
